In a troubling email, Kraken stated: "deposit, withdrawal and trading services on your Kraken account are temporarily suspended, until the relevant information or documentation has been updated." This incident has raised eyebrows as many users, much like our source, struggle to obtain answers regarding their suspended accounts. Despite multiple outreach attempts via chat and phone, they claimed they received no serious assistance, instead receiving generic automated replies, leading to rising discontent.
Kraken's customer support is under fire, as complaints paint a picture of a disorganized response system. When the user sought understanding, their queries went largely unanswered, creating a sense of urgency. The affected user stated, "I would like to get this resolved as soon as possible I am more than frustrated" What’s even more disconcerting is the inability to access cash, especially as the account holds no crypto assets. On March 31, they reached out again, but to no avail.
The confusion appears to stem from an overarching lack of communication between Kraken’s support team and its clients. Many users are left without any clarity on the situation. While some expressed sympathy for support staff, who seem dedicated but helpless, others question whether Kraken’s business practices are becoming untenable.
