A growing coalition of users is escalating discontent with a popular banking app due to ongoing performance issues. Complaints of brutal loading times, relentless re-authentication prompts, and unexpected app crashes continue to rise, leading many to voice their frustrations.
Reports suggest app performance has worsened dramatically. Many users now find checking card balances takes over 10 minutes, with some declaring, "It has always taken at least 30 seconds to check my card balance, but recently it takes 10+ minutes!" Others shared disillusionment with constant re-authentication, emphasizing its unnecessary frequency, stating, "It's not even a kilobyte of data!" An additional user raises a valid point, saying, "How many times has someone’s phone been stolen within the 5 seconds after logging in before the screen locks?"
Feedback highlights a significant divide among users based on device type.
One user insisted, "I have the app installed on 3 devices, and it's the same on each one, so I guess it could be some weird routing issue with my ISP, but I doubt it."
Another emphasized personal experience, remarking, "I’ve always had this problem, including from the day I got my brand new Samsung!"
Interestingly, many argue that performance issues don’t stem from their devices or internet connectivity. One person stated, "I’m in a very well-covered 5G area, plus my broadband is full fiber — it’s probably not my connection."
The escalating dissatisfaction is prompting conversations about account closures. Users are clear: if issues persist, many will reconsider their choices. "If they don’t sort their issues, I have to close my account," said one frustrated customer. As one put it, "Time is money that’s why I just have to cut my losses and move on."
